Ayrshire Newborn Photographer | Erin

I photographed beautiful little baby Erin just a few weeks ago in my home studio in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.   It was such a pleasure to have this lovely family back, as I photographed their first baby as a newborn two years ago.  Having looked back at my images of Erin's big sister Amy, the similarities between both babies is incredible!  They have exactly the same little mouths, noses and their expressions when asleep are identical - super cute!

Erin's session was a dream, just as I hoped it would be.  Prior to every session, I consult with parents on their colour and style preferences.  In this session I had a completely free rein to use any colour and do whichever posed set-ups that I wanted to do, which was just lovely.  I use neutrals in every session to ensure that parents have timeless images, but I also love to be able to create colourful set-ups to complete the gallery with some beautifully styled images.

I've picked out a number of images from Erin's gallery for you to see the range of poses and set-ups that are typical in my newborn sessions.  My floral arrangements are proving to be very popular with parents of baby girls at the moment.  If parents request a floral image, I try to mix and match the colours of the flowers to their preferences and experiment with different coloured backgrounds and wraps to give each image a unique feel to it.  

Anyway, that's enough from me.  I'll let you have a look at the images and hopefully you'll like the path that my styled newborn sessions are going down and continue to follow my work.

I'm currently taking bookings from August onwards.  My sessions take place when baby is 5-12 days old, so it is recommended that bookings are made around your 20 weeks scan to ensure availability.
